If you look at the Bollywood industry, you will see that many stars have come to the horizon. They shined at the peak of their careers but most of them ended up like dust. This sounds like a celestial body vanished from the horizon. Another star takes their place and the cycle continues as we know that two stars cannot shine together. If the older star wants to shine, then he has to take the light from the new shining star or be ready to dim. Amitabh Bachchan knew this factor and he used it very tactfully to overcome the low phase of his life.
Amitabh Bachchan asked for help
Let’s clarify the above statement by taking the examples of Rajesh Khanna, the first Bollywood superstar and subsequent superstar after him was Amitabh Bachchan, both of them were rivals of their time.
Former one didn’t ask for the help from the new directors or new stars at the low phase of his career, whereas the latter one continuously shined by asking for both work and help from new directors. He was working as a co-actor with the new shining stars. He kept his former superstar craze aside and accepted many of the roles suited for his age. New age audiences accepted the Amitabh Bachchan.
Life Lessons
You can say that it’s an entertainment industry, how can I apply it in real life. Yes sure, the answer for this is: you might be a superstar in your field or work during your younger or hay days, but unable to handle or understand the new sets of problems or trends of the current time which is hampering your growth. For example, not knowing about the current technology which may help you to leverage your business or work. Then, take the help from the younger one and continue to shine by working with them. Assist with new age people for your growth. Always ask for help.
